We’re now fitting every scooter in a community mobility scheme’s fleet with a small connected tracker, and the scheme’s bookings run on our online hire platform. Both were designed from the start for mobility scooters and e-bikes alike, and both are now available to any business that wants to hire them out.
Smart trackers that know where every vehicle is
The trackers are compact, weatherproof units with their own 4G connection. They draw power straight from the vehicle’s own battery, and the same unit runs on a 24-volt mobility scooter or a 36- or 48-volt e-bike, so a mixed fleet is tracked in exactly the same way.
- A live map of the whole fleet. See where every vehicle is, whether it is out on hire, and how much charge it has left.
- Tip-over alerts. If a scooter falls over and stays down, staff are alerted straight away, so they can check on the rider.
- Theft protection. A built-in backup battery keeps the tracker reporting even if the main battery is disconnected.
- Remote set-up. Settings are changed over the air, so nothing has to come back to the workshop.
A hire platform ready for your business
Behind the trackers is a multi-tenant hire platform. Each business gets its own space, with its own branding, prices, terms and customers, kept completely separate from every other operator’s.
- Nothing to build or host. No software to write and no servers to run.
- Your brand, your prices. Charge by the hour, by the day or through membership levels, with your own logo and colours.
- Online sign-up and booking. Share your own registration link. Customers sign up, book an available vehicle and pay securely by card.
