LoRaWAN

LoRaWAN networks, designed, built and run for you

LoRaWAN connects battery-powered sensors over long distances and deep into buildings. We plan the network, supply and install the devices, run the network server and deliver the data where you need it.

Why LoRaWAN?

Most monitoring needs the same thing: steady, reliable readings from sensors spread across a site, sent automatically and stored where they can be audited. LoRaWAN was designed for exactly that.

Years on a battery

Sensors typically run 3–10 years without a battery change, so there is no power cabling and no disruption.

Deep building penetration

Signals reach basements, stairwells, plant rooms and roof spaces where Wi-Fi and mobile signals give up.

Long range

A single gateway can cover kilometres outdoors, or several buildings in a dense estate.

Secure

Every message is encrypted end to end, with separate network and application keys for each device.

Open standard

LoRaWAN is a global standard from the LoRa Alliance, with thousands of certified devices from hundreds of makers.

Low running cost

No per-device mobile contract, and data that flows automatically into your systems.

Network design and managed networks

Your network, your way

Some projects are best served by a shared public network; others need a private network that is exactly where you want it, under your control and not shared with anyone. Many use both. We build all three.

  • Site surveys covering roof access, power, mounting, line of sight and existing coverage, recorded scheme by scheme.
  • Gateway placement design with RF planning, so every building is reached with overlap and a single failure doesn't leave a gap.
  • Carrier-grade gateways, IP67 outdoor and indoor models, with cellular backhaul so the network doesn't depend on site broadband.
  • Our own network server, or yours: device profiles, keys, decoders and integrations set up and maintained.
  • A managed service: gateway monitoring and alerting, maintenance and support under a service-level agreement.
  • Capital or operating cost: buy the network outright, or pay monthly as a service.

How we deliver

  1. Survey and design

Site survey, device selection and a coverage plan.

  2. Provisioning

Devices registered on the network, with decoders configured and tested.

  3. Installation

Gateways and sensors installed by us or our installation partners.

  4. Integration

Data delivered to your platform, dashboard or BMS over an API or MQTT, or to ours.

  5. Monitoring and support

Ongoing network monitoring, alerts, reporting and support.
