Livealarm and fault alerts
Tamperand removal detection
5–10 yearstypical battery life

The requirement
Landlords must fit smoke alarms on every storey and carbon monoxide alarms where there are fixed combustion appliances, and keep them working. Across hundreds or thousands of homes, nobody knows which alarms have been removed, have flat batteries or have gone off, until something goes wrong.
Our approach
Connected alarms report over LoRaWAN, so for every alarm in the estate you can see:
- real-time alarm events, with the address;
- removal, tampering and fault alerts;
- low batteries, before they start chirping and get taken down;
- every test, logged automatically for compliance records.
Alarms keep working as normal standalone alarms. The connection adds visibility, not a new point of failure.
